Founded in 2018, ANTONIA’S is a life-changing project for Isabel Rio. As a former designer for Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein and Carolina Herrera, she has always been committed to authenticity, heritage and quality. Isabel is part of the second generation of graduates from the MFA Fashion Design and Society programme at Parsons New York.

When she showed her first collection in New York, her models wore espadrilles and that’s where it all started. She saw that people were more interested in her shoes than her clothes. When she returned home, she looked to her roots and created something close to her heart and to her love of textiles and craftsmanship.

The name of the brand establishes a relationship with her family, both grandmother and father have died and both were named Antonio and Antonia. She wanted to keep both of them close to her in her new venture and incorporate some of their magical spirit into the brand.”Antonia’s about being human, local, genuine and responsible”.
